About Casera Search Technology

Casera Search Technology is a property search provider for conveyancers and property solicitors in England and Wales: regulated and official local authority searches, drainage and water and environmental searches, and the reports a conveyancing file needs, with a UK search team that answers the phone. Search Code subscriber, founded 2025.

Who we are

Casera Search Technology Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 16359502, and was founded on 2 April 2025. Conveyancers order their property searches, compliance checks and reports through one platform, and our UK search team answers the phone.

Founders

Casera was founded by Rhys Birkinshaw, Nathan Rath and Marcus Rowley, the company’s directors.

Our team

  • John Roberts, Head of search. John heads Casera’s search team and looks after firms in Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales. Before joining Casera, he ran the Index Property Information franchise for Merseyside.
  • Peter Garford, Head of sales and business development. Peter leads sales and business development at Casera. He previously ran the Index Property Information franchise for East Central and North Central, covering areas including Peterborough and Lincoln, and has worked at Groundsure.
  • Elaine Rose. Elaine looks after firms in Greater Manchester for Casera. Before joining Casera, she ran the Index Property Information franchise for Greater Manchester.
  • Stuart Whaley. Stuart is part of the Casera team. He previously ran the Index Property Information franchise for East Anglia.
  • Dan Edwards, Senior account manager. Dan is a senior account manager at Casera, looking after firms across the North West. Before joining, he spent three years in conveyancing support at two law firms, including Birchall Blackburn.
  • Chole Nevard, Account manager and search specialist. Chole is an account manager and search specialist at Casera, looking after firms in the South East.
  • Marcus Rowley, Co-founder. Marcus is a co-founder of Casera and leads its product and commercial strategy.
  • Rhys Birkinshaw, Co-founder. Rhys is a co-founder of Casera and leads the technology behind its platform.

Standards we work to

Casera Search Technology Limited is registered with the Property Codes Compliance Board (PCCB) as a subscriber to the Search Code, and is listed in the Council of Property Search Organisations (CoPSO) member directory. If a complaint is not resolved, it can be referred to The Property Ombudsman. Read our complaints procedure.
